Signs, houses and planets
Ever
wondered exactly how Astrology works? Is it really a four thousand
year old science, or just a pile of old moondust? Ask Carl Jung. He used
it for his more difficult psychiatric cases. Or Isaac Newton. He was
not averse to a bit of chart reading, when not busy identifying the Law
of Gravity.
Astrology
is a vast and complicated subject and once you become immersed in it,
you will probably never be able - or willing - to extract yourself. This
fascinating study was known as the psychology of the ancient world and
you will be amazed at its complexity and accuracy.
This six week beginners’ course will introduce you to the basics of Astrology. Each class lasts for one and a half hours.
The
course will be taught by Shirley Johnson, who has been studying and
using Astrology for thirty years. As well as doing private readings for
clients, Shirley is well known in Ireland through her magazine columns
and articles and her radio and television appearances.

THE ZOO IN THE SKY - Part 1
In
this first week, we’ll be looking at six of the twelve famous Zodiac
signs, their symbolism, glyphs and mythology and how we divide them up
between the Elements, the Principles and the Qualities. (Don’t
worry,it’s more fun than it sounds!)
WEEK 2
THE ZOO IN THE SKY - Part 2
We look at the remainder of the twelve Zodiac Signs, in the same way.
WEEK 3
THE PLANETS AND THE GODS - Part 1
This
week, we’ll be looking at five of the ten planets recognized by Western
astrologers, each of them assigned to a particular sign of the Zodiac.
These were the gods of the ancient world. This week, the Sun, the Moon,
Mercury, Venus and Mars.
WEEK 4
THE PLANETS AND THE GODS - Part 2
This week, we look at the rest of the planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
WEEK 5
MANY MANSIONS
The
Zodiac wheel is divided into Twelve Houses, each one concerned with a
different area of experience in life. Each one is associated with a
different Sign of the Zodiac. Angular, Succedent and Cadent Houses. The
Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven and I.C.
WEEK 6
STARTING TO PUT IT TOGETHER
What
does it mean when you have Mars in Pisces in the Seventh House in your
Birth Chart? Or the Moon in Leo in the Eighth? Or the Sun in Gemini in
the Ninth? We look at some possible combinations, from the charts of
famous people and of ourselves.

Meditation for Children
Age group 9-12 years
Meditation for children just might be the key to raising offspring with a sense of focus and well being. Meditation for children can alleviate stress and anxiety, frustration, fear, anger, restlessness, and many more symptoms children suffer in this fast paced life we live in. Stress affects children, too. Meditation for children can help with sleep problems and disorders, prolonged stress, anxiety and panic attacks.
We will teach children how to relax through meditation and show them different techniques such as light- and colour protection, working with the angels, transforming negative thought into positive, confidence and more.
If we guide young people to look to themselves as their own source of calm, peace and self-esteem they will ultimately be better prepared for all that life is.

Most people are only familiar with Rescue Remedy. But did you know that there are more flower remedies?
Are you feeling emotionally upset and stressed? With Bach Flower Remedies you can help yourself and others to restore your emotional wellbeing! Get to know more about how easy the Bach Flower Remedies are to use! You will be able to make your own treatment bottle at the end of the day.
With this 1 day workshop you can go on to the advanced 1 day workshop. After completion of the full two days you will receive a certificate which entitles you to go on to Level 2 and 3 of the Bach International Education Program (BIEP). Bach Foundation-approved level 1 courses provide a solid grounding in the remedies. Even if you already have some knowledge of the remedies you will benefit from the chance to take an in-depth look at the most commonly used remedies, get a detailed overview of all the 38 remedies and learn how to use them in everyday situations for yourself, your family and friends. You will also learn a little about working with animals and plants.
After you have completed the full 2 days or 4 evenings you will receive a certification approved by the Bach Centre, Oxfordshire, England and you can move on to any approved level 2 and level 3 practitioner course.
